original_post:_4/23/2003________________ I had Max do the comic strip to show he was starting to really build his comic making muscle. I did a strip for the college paper for about a year and a half in college, but other commitments got too time consuming. Plus my strip was just making fun of things on campus, and after a year, I was out of good jokes. The editor is based on a friend of mine, Sara, who is now an Emmy award winning writer and stand-up comic. I wish my REAL editor was as passionate about me leaving the paper. I think she was just like, "okay."
