I try to keep the character stuff in there as much as possible, and everyone should have a strong desire and need to be invested in this. But sometimes it gets a little wordy. I get that. here, Chip has to catch everyone up with what he heard, and other characters like Kim and Lydia have to show up. Kim and Chip being in the same place makes it interesting though, as they haven’t seen each other since Kim walked out.
