This is another “raising the stakes” moment, but I didn’t want to make it a big event… just something that they discussed and it came up, then what are they gonna do? I also knew in my head, that the pregnancy would be the beginning of the end of the long, drawn out final arcs of the strip. So the last two years of reading the strip encapsulate about 9 months of comic time.
