original_post: 7/9/2008____________________________ yeah, it’s an exposition strip. I don’t like to do it, but we need a little clue into Mikayla and Haven’s backstory. I thought about doing this as a flashback, where we see some events, but I didn’t want to lock in Mikayla as a supporting character quite yet. That would have made it more obvious that she and Rae might end up together and I wanted to build that tension.
