original_post:_6/6/2001_______________ Again, jumping forward to Chip talking to Tommy puts more emphasis on Tommy's P.O.V. I like Chip confidently strutting away in panel 2. This storyline has an interesting triangle of friends helping other friends. Tommy is reluctantly helping Chip, and Rob is helping Tommy unbeknownst to him. The only downside from a writing perspective is we don't really want Chip to succeed, and therefore don't care when he doesn't. If I had set up Chip really having some stakes in going out with Emily, or showing how much it might have hurt him, it would have fleshed out the story even more!
