He knew a lot more about old school comics and artist than I did, and took the art side of things very serious. I was impressed and inspired. There are so many people out there that do what they do in this field so well, and never get the recognition they deserve because not many people give new stuff a chance. Next time you go to a con or store, pick up a book that you normally wouldn't. You might be surprised.
