original_post:_11/11/2000______During grad school I had some pretty late projects. Some where I stayed up all night and got a little delirious and loopy. I had the idea to have Max just get so out of it and sleep deprived that he started to see things. This was actually going to be a regular feature in the strip. I'll explain why it didn't stick in a few strips.
