original_post:_10/10/2000______Another attempt at new word bubbles, this time everything was hand drawn. I could see the extreme creative flexibility in this method. But there were two main reasons I decided not to go with hand lettering the strips: 1.) I can't spell worth a damn, and 2.) it wasn't consistant. My OCD and lack of spell check in my brain told me I should probably use the lettering of a computer. Even though I would make MANY mistakes with grammar and spelling, at least it would be easier to fix later. I really like how the characters turned out visually in this strip. Emily has some nice emotional face changes here. Even though it's still in what I call my chibi phase, I like how some of the faces turned out.
