original_post:_7/12/2007____________________________ Wednesdays are the shipment days for comic book stores, although only comic book fans know that, and even then, they don’t always go on Wednesday. Collectors that are after something might capitalize on it, but other than that, it’s crazy for the store employee. I worked at a Borders for a while, and organizing hardcover books was hard enough, I can’t imagine trying to keep floppy, thin, comic books organized. Maybe that’s why graphic novels got more popular, because you can actually put them on the bookshelf and feel like it’s got some substance.
