Striptease

original_post:_5/29/2007____________________________ Listen, comics nerds having an argument about continuity or “canon” is a dangerous territory. In grad school, I studied sequential art. While there, I had overheard many a convo about the marvel or DC debate and this or that story or character or writer was was stupid, or awesome, and the counterpoint to it so many times. As for the strip, JD was a character we saw in the first year when Max visits the comic store. Trevor, or “Trigger” was a new character, just to make them a pair. Many people thought this was Nate from the college years, but it was someone new. I wanted him to show the lighter side of comics fans, where JD was the harsher, more jaded, opinionated voice.
