original_post:_3/12/2001________ Thus began "inker Search 2001" which was my way of doing some homages to webcomics that I enjoyed at the time. Now I didn't really know the protocol of using characters in cameos. The first, CZ, was from a strip called "Rusty Shrapnel" by a friend of mine from school. Then Checkerboard Nightmare, which I never read but liked the design. And of course Gabe from Penny Arcade. I got some traffic of this one, which was very generous of them to link.
