Mikayla was always fun to draw, being a little different and a nice balance for Rae. In this strip, it’s Rae that’s trying to set things right, but also make a bit of a move. She realizes that Mikayla is a good person, and she’s also very attracted to her. It might be because they have a shared past, or because they are both a bit focused in their beliefs, but the attraction is there, and the unlikely friendship begins.
