original_post: 10/4/2007____________________________ let’s face it, bed scenes are a little tricky. The characters are all glowing, slightly exhausted, but still have to be in a certain mood. Plus, the panels are often a bird’s eye view, so you have some fun sprawled out hair physics to deal with. That being said, I quite enjoy these series of panels. It’s quickly catching the reader up with Rae and Haven’s mood and level of intimacy at this point. Since Haven is a new character, seeing her (almost) naked makes us think we have met her at her most revealing and personal… which makes her betrayal (and eventual backstory) later on that much more shocking for Rae and the readers.
