original_post:_1/10/2007____________________________ Gary was based on a guy I worked with, and although he didn’t speak in weird metaphor, he was cocky and drew caricatures that were all the same. I felt bad for the people getting sketches from him, because every face looked like the one before. It really pushed me to try and be original with style.
