original_post:_12/3/2003___________________________ We leave Max and Alli in a sort of friendship state here, as Alli settles his mind that nothing happened between her and Rae. As he feels free and declares he's now going after Rae, Alli still has a little twinge of regret, or hesitation. I got some flack for this from the readers. Or, I should say, Alli did. "If she wanted him, she should just say it," and stuff like that. I stand by Alli's reaction though, that even if she does want to be with Max, sometimes it's not always the best timing to act on these desires.
