original_post:_10/3/2003_______________________ This is the first time in a while I had played with the format. I started by making a few different layouts: three, two, one, and five panels. It would give me some more variation in story telling, since each comic didn't always fit four "beats". Story-wise, Max is starting to get more comfortable with the casual hooking up, but this is when Rae is wanting some more clarity. Not just with them, but with her own life. I knew around this time that Rae was going to come out, but I wanted to take my time with it, and go with her on the journey.
