original_post:_9/17/2003_______________________ As an improvisor, I deal a lot with portraying things that look natural, and not feel staged. Even when scenes get wacky, playing them like it's a reality the characters all accept is important, otherwise the audience doesn't trust you. I was trying to do that with this comic, and most of the time, feel like it worked. Sometimes it fell off the rails, and got a little too weird or ungrounded. But moments like this pull it back.
