original_post:_2/20/2002_______________ So I had been talking with my friend Drew, who was also a fan of the strip, about what his take on things might be. I was deep in the last few months of grad school at this point and spending more time to write scripts seemed like time I could be using on final projects. So I asked Drew if he wanted to write the strip for a little while. I gave him an idea of where I wanted to go, but he did all the dialogue and script breakdowns. This comic is another one of those rare strips where I've broken the fourth wall. It's also one of the only ones, I think, with a possible tentacle monster. Drew was a big Lovecraft fan, so it was a big inside joke.
