But I knew that Naomi was going to die naturally, without anyone being able to save her. Chip sacrificing himself would have been valiant for him, but using a tin plate to protect him like a geek is much more in character so I went that route. It lets him make the sacrifice play but stay alive for more fun later. Besides, I couldn't kill him!
