But the weirdest thing about this strip is something I found out about a few years later. Randomly I was checking some of the site referral links; where site visitors were clicking on links from. I check out a link to THIS strip, and it came from a site that had a compilation of comic strips and comic books where people were drugged using chloroform. That's it. Just a bunch of examples of mostly female characters getting knocked out. I don't know if this was some kind of fetish, I didn't know whether to be honored or horrified, but it was a bizarre moment of internet recognition for sure.
