Tourists are idiots. Maybe it's just the constant traveling, eating junk food, and having your brain bonked around on roller coasters that contributes to the idiocy, but I'd like to think that people could use a little common sense. If you find yourself in the position of being a tourist, please, PLEASE, for god's sake, use your head. It doesn't take much to look around, find a map, ask a nice question, and proceed with your business. So why do these people at amusement parks feel like everything has to be rushed? Tourists typically spend around 5-10 hours in a theme park. Most of that time is spent waiting in lines for a ride that takes 2 minutes. Hello? Priorities? The rest of the time consists of eating cotton candy as fast as possible, rushing to bathrooms, and buying souvineers as quickly as possible (I know something about this last one). It's kinda funny that people are rushing and stressing out about time so much, when they're supposed to be on vacation. I can't tell you how many mothers I've seen yelling at their kids to "KEEP MOVING! WE DON'T HAVE TIME TO STAND! AROUND"......... jeez. Now, I'm not the smartest guy. I can't spell, I can't read a book for more than 15 minutes at a time, but I'm smart enough to figure out that the prices advertised on a price list refer to DOLLARS. This is also supported by the little "$" sign next to the number. Some people, however, either don't bother to look or don't know what "$" means. These people are morons. |
